Inter-first year exams from October 25


Hyderabad: The first-year intermediate public exams for second-year students are expected to start from Monday. A total of 4,59,228 students are expected to take the exams that will end on November 3.

The exams will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and students will be allowed to enter the centers one hour before the start of the exam. Applicants must fill in their contact details on the OMR sheet between 8:45 am and 9:00 am and students arriving after 9:00 am will not be allowed to enter the center.

The Telangana State Intermediate Education Council (TS BIE) has made extensive arrangements, including the establishment of 1,768 examination centers across the state. A total of 25,258 supervisors were deployed for review duties in addition to 1,768 each chief superintendent and departmental officers were appointed. The Council also deployed 70 flying squadrons for the exams.

In view of the pandemic situation, the Board appointed only fully vaccinated staff. Wearing a face mask is compulsory for students and examination center staff. Isolation rooms have been set up in all centers for students suffering from any suspicious symptoms of Covid-19.

The TS BIE decided to allow the pupils to bring their own bottle of transparent water and a small bottle of disinfectant to the center. The jury also made the necessary arrangements for the disinfection of all benches, furniture, doors and windows in the examination room.

Students are not permitted to carry any type of printed / written material, cell phones, pagers, calculators or any other electronic gadget in the center.
