Anonymous, 10 hours agoNot really. The king is bbk, in terms of overall sales. BBK is a conglomerate. According to your logic, Samsung Electronics is still the king beating BBK Electronics.
DMX, 19 hours agoMany Android users, especially former Samsung users, have switched and are switching to Ios….. moreYour argument has many flaws:
1) Many people buy Apple not because Apple is better than Samsung, but because Americans (with over 300 million people) prefer their own brand and more than half of Apple’s sales come from United States. In Europe (high income continent/region), most people prefer Samsung quality over Apple.
The number one brand in terms of sales would be Chinese, if Xiaomi Oppo Vivo Honor were sold under one brand. China is the most populous country and also prefers its own brands.
2) Today, Samsung is more popular as a consumer device company, because the number of people using Samsung devices is much larger than the number of people using Samsung home appliances.
Imagine someone still sees Lamborghini as a farm tractor brand and not a sports car brand in 2022.

Xiaomi is losing sales as they eliminated the headphone jack and SD slot. Also, newer phones are actually downgraded from the previous year, and too many are named by a 3-year-old. Or randomly.
If you go to a site to buy a xiaomi your head will spin in less than 3 minutes. So many variations that it all seems like a joke
RejZoR, 17 hours agoSometimes having so many choices is counterproductive. That’s why I just ignore 3/4 of the phon… moreYou see exactly what you want to see. Admittedly, there are too many Android phones released. But at least it gives people choices. And you can always look elsewhere if you are unhappy with certain models or brands.
On the Apple side, iPhone users are stuck with what Apple gives them during this time.
Want the cheapest iPhone? Sorry, we only have Xr, 11 or SE3. By the way, these are all bad iPhone models.
Want a Mini iPhone? Sorry, the iPhone 13 mini will be the last Mini released. Then it’s goodbye.
Want the Pro Motion feature? Sorry, you have to buy an iPhone 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max.
Want a good iPhone battery? Only the iPhone 13 series offers this.
So yes, this may sound nice to you, but for others, lack of options is worse than too many options. Among too many options, you have the power to decide which one is best for you. You just need to use your brain a bit, to filter out the bad choices. But for lack of options, you have to accept what Apple releases that year or wait another year and hope for the best.

blue, 14 hours agoToo bad for the all-powerful Chinese brands which, according to local “experts”, are… moreVery well my darling I am with you 💯
For those who claim that Samsung has many phones compared to Apple, making it a leader in the competition… you must be kidding.
Think twice again….. Apple with its powerful ecosystem stands alone (Apple is telling the world directly “not everyone needs a cell phone, stay away from phones”.)
Samsung, on the other hand, proves Apple wrong (even among many Androids)
Listen carefully and take it from me. With Samsung, you’ll know that the phones are designed for different uses and purposes and not just the performance-intensive that Apple (in terms of price) is claiming today, but they miss a lot of comparison with a GALAXY NOTE…* * Typing from a Samsung Midrange 😂😂.
Too bad for the all-powerful Chinese brands which, according to local “experts”, are generations ahead of Apple and Samsung. Xiaomi 20% down, Oppo and Vivo 30%. Good. More than good. Excellent, I would say.
And, of course, the introduction of two new unsupported models every week changes nothing.
People mostly bought phones from the two worst manufacturers, because who wants to think? It’s so exhausting.
Chinese companies are feeling the impact of their government holding entire cities prisoner to colds
Around the world, despite concerted crimes against humanity, people are growing upset and tired of every company releasing the same phone every year and sometimes multiple times a year… except for Apple and Samsung phones, because the more a company is corrupt. , the more people like to give him money.
in any business, regardless of products and services, we are the workers driven to sell and sell more…since GOD knows when at the end of everything…always and forever
no company tells its employees to stop selling
…and Apple still claims the best seller??? i guess…we can rest assured that the earth is getting greener and safer, thanks to the technology company
DaFink, 17 hours agoYou might be onto something, a quick look at the Motorola devices section, for example, reveals… moreSometimes having so many choices is counterproductive. That’s why I just ignore 3/4 of the phone brands because they just spam products on the market and even worse offer almost no support or terrible support for them (mostly in terms of software). Sorry, I just can’t be bothered to spend 6 hours figuring out all the minor or major differences between all the completely useless models. Apple is the only phone maker that has around 5 models a year and that’s it. I would actually give Samsung second place if it weren’t for all the stupid series outside of the Galaxy A and S line. Because the Galaxy A series usually only has a few models each year and the same for S. But then they have tons of other letters with weird redesigned patterns with slight changes that don’t make any sense. Just why!? That’s why I almost hate 99% of Chinese phone makers. They just spam models to such an extent that they entirely saturate the market with completely useless devices for every $5 price bracket.
In fact, this idea of having a product ready at all possible and impossible prices is so stupid. “Back then”, if you wanted something cheap, you just bought something cheap. If you wanted something better there might have been a bigger price hike, but you also had a significantly better device and deciding that was also a lot easier as you chose between 5 models. Not 25. Basically what choosing a new iPhone looks like. Do I need a massive screen and a bunch of cameras? No. So I’m going to buy the normal iPhone. It’s so simple and you almost don’t need to do any comparisons to do it. Good luck doing that with a Xiaomi or Motorola…

Granted, several of them are just very minor (and seemingly unnecessary) variations on each other, but that’s just ridiculous.
APPLE-FOREVER, 19 hours agoThese are 3.1 billion phones shipped in 3 months. Who is buying these phones BTW? I don’t know if you remember a website called Androidpit, now known as Nextpit.
Someone on the comment session claimed to have 13 phones and listed them.
All phones were current and previous post year generations.
Plus, there are youtubers buying phones to review.
None, 19 hours agoAnd why he left? Because Apple does not manufacture 17 series of iPhone phones. It’s easy… moreSamsung’s S series is treated like the newer iPhones. At least for the first 3 years. This means timely security updates. Then quarterly updates for 1 year. Still good.
No one keeps their phone for more than 3-4 years anyway. Not even Apple fanboys who say longevity software support is a must. And those who keep them longer don’t care about software updates in the first place.
Bottom line, for the first 2-3 years, Samsung’s S-series is handled pretty well.
My used S20+ still gets monthly security updates. And is a 2 year old model.
[deleted post]if all smartphones were bad, we have to go back to the era of nokia phones. I would miss the older generation of phones.
