Amazon B2B Announces “Anniversary Sale” to Celebrate Partnership with MSMEs

Bangalore, September 23 (KNN) To commemorate four years of value creation for MSMEs in India, ‘Amazon Business’ announced a special anniversary sale from September 24-29.

Due to its fourth anniversary, in addition to cash back, Amazon Business’s “anniversary sale” promises big savings, for example, discounts on laptops (up to 30%), televisions (55% ), Kitchen & Office Furnishings (70%), Printers & Inks (30%), Home Work Essentials (50-60%) and Gift Items from Rs. 199.

Amazon Business offers millions of products for businesses at wholesale and special rates. During its four-year journey, Amazon Business has significantly expanded its customer base by registering millions of businesses as customers in India, with an increase of over 86% year-on-year in India, making the Indian market of Amazon Business the second largest after the United States.

Amazon Business saw a 35% increase in the number of monthly active users, resulting in a 65% increase in orders and an 85% increase in sales. Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets also played an important role in this growth, with 30% of buying customers and 25% of orders coming from small towns.

Over the past two successive Covid waves, Amazon Business has provided instant access to various safety products required for their offices and workplaces, such as PPE kits, masks, face shields and disinfectants.

To help businesses realize additional savings, we’ve launched B2B-focused events like MSME Accelerate, an event to help small businesses get started after foreclosure. In MSME Accelerate, we saw the participation of more 3L sellers, setting up exclusive trade offers and wholesale discounts, resulting in a 30% increase in the number of buying customers and 35% of orders.
