12.67 lakh candidates register for UCG NET 2021: Know exam day guidelines, admission card and other details


UGC NET 2021: The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) exam for the merged cycle of December 2020 and June 2021 began on November 20. According to data released by the National Testing Agency, NTA, the UGC NET exam will be taken by applicants in Computer-based testing mode covers India in 213 cities and 469 centers this year.

On the first day of UGC NET 2021, a total of 52,335 applicants appeared in 36 different subjects, with 13,975 appearing in the first shift for 19 subjects and 38,360 in the second shift for the remaining 17.

More than 8,000 video surveillance cameras have been installed in all the centers:

To ensure a fair and smooth conduct of the day one exam, 1,783 jammers and 8,142 CCTV cameras were deployed to all centers, helping NTA-appointed national and regional coordinators to observe virtually any exam administration.

The UGC NET 2021 exam will end on December 5, 2021. The UGC NET exam is ongoing for 81 test articles for the award of a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and / or eligibility for the post of professor assistant.

Report time and other important instructions:

Candidates must present themselves at the Exam Center two hours before the start of the exam in order to complete the search and registration formalities well in advance. The registration desk will be closed 30 minutes before the exam.

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center after 8:30 a.m. in the first team and after 2:30 p.m. in the second team.

UCC NET 2021: List of prohibited items

Applicants are NOT permitted to carry any instruments, geometry or pencil box, purse, purse, any type of paper / stationery / textual material (printed or written material), edible (loose or packed), cell phone / earpiece / microphone / pager, calculator, DocuPen, slide rules, scoreboards, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with calculator, any metal objects or gadgets / electronic devices in the room / examination room .

It is strictly forbidden to smoke, chew gutka, spit, etc. in the room / examination room.
